Vitamin B3, known as niacinamide, helps your body to maintain cell and tissue integrity. This has been shown to slow arthritis progression. If you are currently taking an NSAIDs, you may wish to switch as studies show these extracts are more effective than those medications. Vegan Diet for Arthritis

A vegan diet has also been suggested as beneficial in the treatment of this disease. An unhealthy diet containing dairy and other animal products has been shown to increase inflammation of the intestinal surfaces and thereby increases the passage of dietary and/or bacterial antigens which can increase symptoms in arthritis patients.

Vitamin C and vitamin E are being looked at as part of a treatment plan for the many forms of arthritis. As more research is done, more will be discovered about this disease and how best to manage it.
